Container Graphics Expands Facility in UK

ACCRINGTON, ENGLAND (November 14, 2006) Container Graphics Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of US based Container Graphics Corp., is doubling the size of its cutting forme manufacturing facility in Accrington, Lancashire, England. The additional space will house the expansion of the company's rotary forme production department with recently acquired equipment for producing the full diameter range of cutting formes for the corrugated packaging industry, including Mitsubishi, Ward, Gopfert, Martin, United, Klett, RotaCut, etc.

This expansion programme will also drive workflow dynamics in the flatbed cutting forme production area, freeing up around 3,000 sq/ft of dedicated manufacturing space for the production of tooling for, Bobst, Asahi, Marumatsu, Crossland, Rabolini, etc.

At a recent management meeting of the company, Managing Director Robert Dolby stated that he sees significant opportunities for growth in the UK market, and that the company is dedicated to becoming the corrugated packaging industry's supplier of choice for high quality cutting formes. According to Dolby, "This investment will give us new capabilities to meet the needs of the industry."
