CONTAINER GRAPHICS INTRODUCES NEW PRODUCT
CARY, NC (August 23, 2006) Corrugated converters continue to look for methods to reduce press setup time. Container Graphics Corporation is introducing a new tension strap product for mounting plates to the print cylinder that addresses converters' needs. CGC will market the product under the StretchLocTM Tension Straps trade name. The product is patent pending.
The straps are shipped with the printing plate and are designed to stay with the printing plate in storage to make setup fast the first time and each time the plate is used. They stay permanently attached in use and in storage; however, the straps are designed to be easily removed manually, if desired.
The new, unique, two hook/end tension belt concept is available in seven color-coded, fixed lengths. The new strap has a J hook end for attaching it to a plate mount trail edge slot, and a 45 degree hook end for attaching it to the press plate cylinder latch slot.
