Setup for CGC E-mail Server

Apple iPhone / iPad

On the desktop, touch Settings.

Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars, then Add Account…

From the list of account types, select Other.

Select Add Mail Account.

Enter your Name, E-mail Address, E-mail Password, and an Account Description (such as CGC Mail), then touch Next.

Select POP if you want to copy messages directly to your mobile device so you can read messages when offline, or IMAP if you will always be online when reading messages and so will read them directly from the server.

Under Incoming Mail Server, enter Host Name: smtp.containergraphics.com, then enter your e-mail username and password.  Repeat for Outgoing Mail Server.  When complete, touch Save.

If a ‘Cannot connect Using SSL’ message appears, touch Yes to bypass SSL.

A message will appear saying the server could not connect.  This is because we still need to set the proper communication port.  Touch OK, then touch Save again.

If prompted to confirm the save, click Save.

Once returned to the Mail, Contacts, Calendars menu, select the newly-created account.

Scroll down to Outgoing Mail Server and touch the entry.

The Primary Server should be smtp.containergraphics.com, and it should show as being On.  Touch the entry for editing.

Make sure the Host Name and User Name show correctly.  Confirm Use SSL is Off.  Confirm Authentication is by Password.  Change the Server Port to 366.  When finished, click Done.

Return to the main Account Information window, and touch the Advanced entry.

Under Incoming Settings, make sure Use SSL is OFF.  Confirm Authentication is by Password.  Confirm Delete from server is set to Never if you want mail also available to your computer.  Confirm the Server Port is set to 110.

When finished, touch the back arrow in the upper-left, then click Done to return to the Mail, Contacts, Calendar menu.
